• Bristol Waterfront - Finding Time To Shoot

A look at Bristol Waterfront near M-Shed on a cold, crisp and clear day with beautiful light and fantastic blue skies. This area of Bristol became a floating harbour in 1809 preventing tidal influences and is now a vibrant social, cultural and historical area of the city. Footage from my filming today at Filmed on the Panasonic DVX200 and recorded on the Atomos Shogun Inferno in 4K and rescaled to FHD during the edit. This was edited and graded from log footage entirely in Davinci Resolve. I have gone for a realistic look here rather than anything too filmic. Couple of shot moving in this at longer zoom lengths! I seriously need a more stable tripod for the gear I used today. Any suggestions? Music: Water's Edge Thanks for watching and please comment below if you like the short montage....

Roads that would normally see continuous traffic were relatively quiet in Bristol on Christmas morning 2012 and the Waterfront (old docks area) was awash with the sound of birds as opposed to humans. A swan struggled to get a grip on a slippery wooden slipway and a pigeon made it clear what he fancied for Christmas. As the surrounding buildings reflected peacefully in the water, not a single bum rested on the seats remembering the Bristol sailors and ships no longer with us. The constant drip from rooftop onto dustbin acts as a reminder that a few hours before there had been rain, rain, and more rain, making 2012 one of the wettest years on record. All of this will be happening around the area in June. Guiding us will be two people who were born and brought up in this thriving community but of different generations - Fred Wedlock and his daughter Hannah both able musicians themselves. Commercial Property: Property used in such a manner as to make money. From renting spaces for flea market; to building an office building to run your business out of. Commercial property includes office buildings, industrial property, medical centers, hotels, malls, retail stores, farm land, multifamily housing buildings, warehouses, and garages. In many states, residential property containing more than a certain number of units qualifies as commercial property for borrowing and tax purposes. *Office Buildings – This category includes single-tenant properties, small professional office buildings, downtown skyscrapers, and everything in between. *Industrial – This category ranges from smaller properties, often called "Flex" or "R&D" properties, to larger office service or office warehouse properties to the very large "big box" industrial properties. An important, defining characteristic of industrial space is Clear Height. Clear height is the actual height, to the bottom of the steel girders in the interior of the building. This might be 14–16 feet for smaller properties, and 40+ feet for larger properties. We also consider the type and number of docks that the property has. These can be Grade Level, where the parking lot and the warehouse floor are on the same level, to semi-dock height at 24 inches, which is the height of a pickup truck or delivery truck, or a full-dock at 48 inches which is semi-truck height. Some buildings may even have a rail spur for train cars to load and unload. *Retail/Restaurant – This category includes pad sites on highway frontages, single tenant retail buildings, small neighborhood shopping centers, larger centers with grocery store anchor tenants, "power centers" with large anchor stores such as Best Buy, PetSmart, OfficeMax, and so on even regional and outlet malls. *Multifamily – This category includes apartment complexes or high-rise apartment buildings. Generally, anything larger than a fourplex is considered commercial real estate. *Land – This category includes investment properties on undeveloped, raw, rural land in the path of future development. Or, infill land with an urban area, pad sites, and more. *Miscellaneous – This catch all category would include any other nonresidential properties such as hotel, hospitality, medical, and self-storage developments, as well as many more. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commercial_property United States: The United States of America (USA), commonly known as the United States (U.S.) or America (/əˈmɛrɪkə/), is a federal republic[16][17] composed of 50 states, a federal district, five major self-governing territories, and various possessions.[fn 6] Forty-eight states and the federal district are contiguous and located in North America between Canada and Mexico. The state of Alaska is in the northwest corner of North America, bordered by Canada to the east and across the Bering Strait from Russia to the west. The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific Ocean. The U.S. territories are scattered about the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, stretching across nine official time zones. The extremely diverse geography, climate and wildlife of the United States make it one of the world's 17 megadiverse countries.[19] At 3.8 million square miles (9.8 million km2)[20] and with over 324 million people, the United States is the world's third- or fourth-largest country by total area,[fn 7] and the third-most populous. The capital is Washington, D.C., and the largest city is New York City; twelve other major metropolitan areas—each with at least 4.5 million inhabitants—are Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Riverside. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States
